November 9, 2018, Prescott-
I woke in darkness,
both physical and emotional,
wondering what to do,
with a feeling of isolation.
“Well, self”, I have to say,
“you made the choice to live
far from birth family
and remain far from
family- by- marriage.”
As the daylight glimmers,
and my prayers have been said,
I feel my heart is with
family in Florida,
in Korea,
and those clustered
in Massachusetts,
in Pennsylvania
and in Georgia.
We are scattered to the winds,
yet there is still not a day,
without some sort of connection.
You are always in my heart.
This is so lovely. My children are scattered all over the globe, so I can relate. This is beautiful. Well done.

I hope you get to see them every so often.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve seen my son. He lives in Germany. He is happy. That’s all that matters. Thank you for asking!

There was a point in our lives, when I didn’t see my mother for five years. Much of it was due to us not having much on which to live, during the early 2000’s.

Thank you, Richa! It sort of tumbled out of my heart, this morning.
